Race Registration Closes in 1 Day! Don’t miss out!

+What if I'm not in good shape?
That’s ok… You choose how tough to make the course – Run, jog, or even take plenty of breaks and walk! There are “safe” zones that are zombie-free for those who want to have a blast, without being a super-star athlete. On the flip side, if you are in great shape, and want a challenge, then pass the “safe” zones and get ready to test your mettle against the next horde of undead!
+How many runners will be in each race?
Instead of flooding the race with thousands of runners, Zombie Survival Dash starts off smaller “groups” or “waves” every 30 minutes.  (This gives the zombies a better chance of catching you…You better be ready!) Each wave is limited to 300 runners.
+What time should I arrive?
If you are a runner, we recommend arriving a minimum of at least 2 hours before your scheduled time to run. Remember, you’ll need to park, pick up your race packet, get warmed up, etc… The earlier the better to avoid difficulties.
+Do you give refunds?
As is the case for all large running events, we are unable to provide refunds. (Please understand these events are pre-paid for in advance by us) However, to make things easier on you in case you run into a “tough” situation, we do allow you to transfer your ticket. This means you can sell your ticket to a friend (Or on Craigslist/Ebay/etc.) and contact us to adjust the runner information. All ticket transfers must be made a minimum of 1 week prior to race day.
+Will the zombies hurt me?
While it is true that the pursuing zombies would really, really, really like to eat your brain, the answer is no… Zombies are specifically instructed to block, stumble, chase, remove your your health – But they are absolutely not allowed to physically harm you. We have our zombies pretty well trained…
+What should I bring with me?
You will need to bring your photo I.D. We also recommend bringing a towel as well as some cash for food/parking/cool stuff you might want to buy from one of our awesome vendors.
+Is there an age limit?
You must be at least 14 years of age (By race day) to participate in the Zombie Survival Dash. Beyond that minimum age, our zombies are equal opportunity brain eaters – They’re happy to pursue you no matter how old you are…
+What if an obstacle is too difficult?
If an obstacle is too difficult, you are free to skip it – However, the skipping of an obstacle means you will not qualify for an award, and will be listed a non-survivor… You do want to survive don’t you?
+How is this race timed?
We use a sophisticated series of chip and sensors to provide you with the most accurate timing possible. The “chip” you will be provided with is a small, light-weight, and very sophisticated  sensor that you can attach to your shoe prior to race start. Your stats are recorded and compiled immediately once you pass the finish line. Race results are generally available in less than an hour from race finish.
+What if I get hurt
Medical personnel as well as a nurse station will be on hand to help. It may be the end of the world, but we’re not monsters! (Just our zombies are…)
+Besides running, what else can I do?
While we don’t want to give away all the surprises, I can tell you that there will be multiple zombie defense challenges for you to test yourself against. This may sound a bit unbelievable, but one of those events involves grenades! (Ok, so they aren’t REAL grenades, but you know that’s pretty freaking awesome!) – Live bands, food, costume contests, and a lot more are lined up to make this your best day of 2012!
+Can my friends watch?
Observer tickets are indeed available right here on this site! (Just $25) But if you want to bring some friends along, I suggest you hound them until they register because we only have enough room for 1,000 observers, and these spots go quickly!
+Will there be food?
Yes! Yes! And Yes! In addition to the good ol’ fashioned cookout, there will be all sorts of food/treat vendors on hand to make your after-party experience complete!
+Does Zombie Survival Dash Benefit a Charity?
Yes! ZSD has set aside specific activities during each event that will directly benefit Wounded Warriors Project, amongst others. (Feel free to recommend other worthy causes for us to benefit!)
